About this item

Phonograph needle stylus genuine Stanton D71EE.  Manufactured by Stanton Magnetics and marketed by Pfanstiehl 826-DE.  Replaces Pickering DLC, Pickering DLE, Stanton D-71EE, D72E, D-73E, D73S, D-74S.

Used in Pickering TL-1, TLC plug-in cartridges.  This is the same needle as used for the 4609-DE, 609-DE (Short), used in Stanton L720EE, L727E, L737E, L737S, L747S Plug-in cartridges.  The measurement of this needle height is 3/8 inch.

Be sure your old needle matches the measurement as there is a 609 needle that is 7/16 tall. Tip:  .4 x .7 mil elliptical diamond.  Tracking force:  3/4 to 1-1/2 grams.  Speeds:  33 & 45 RPM. Vintage new old stock.

IF YOU ARE PURCHASING A NEEDLE

Model numbers are provided in manufacturer's references for the cartridge they installed in those models.  If the cartridge has been changed by a dealer or user, this needle will not be correct for the model numbers listed, as it is the cartridge that determines what needle is needed.  Be sure it looks like your old needle.
