It has come to our attention that a slightly different size cartridge was made for later model CR8005A units. Some of the earlier CR8005A units did use the NP-1. They are calling the new size the NP-6 needle. It is slightly narrower. We offer a new cartridge/needle replacement for the entire Cruiser cartridge, so it can use the NP-1 needle. It is P-188 or P-188D.
